now that i decided i want a savage which has the advantage only thing is one is cheaper which should i get?

all i wanna know is which one should i get sweet jesus....some one please reply!

Patience, grasshoppa.

They're basically the same truck; the SS is a kit, and you will need radio gear.

If u want to put your own gears(servos n stuff), get a kit to built the whole truck yourself
. If you want a ready to run truck, you get a RTR. Almost everything is included(except batterie pack, charger, glow plug igniter, t wrench, fuel bottle)

If i had the money right now i would buy myself a kit for sure, but i started in nitro r/c with a RTR.

Id go with the RTR its what i got and requires very few mods to make it an awesome truck.

I would go with the kit.
You get to experience building it your self, just put in the radio gear you want, build it and go!

doesn't the SS have upgraded Diffs or something?

the answer to this question all depends on you and your experience/budget. as mentioned above, the SS kit is just that, a kit. it requires to to actually build all the major sections of the truck. if you have some experience in hopping up RC trucks then get the kit. it will however require you to buy certain items if you dont already have them (CA glue, tools, exacto knife, etc). next comes the budget part. since this is a kit, you'll need to provide your own radio sytem (transmitter, servo and reciever). depending on what you buy this will set you back 100-400+ bucks on top of the cost of the kit.

so to answer your question, if you are brand new to hobby with little experience or support tools, get the RTR version. if you have money for the radio gear and experience/drive to build your on truck, get the SS kit.

I just bought the rtr. Its a great truck. You will still be tearing it apart to add hop-ups. Thats just part of the fun.
