Hi I just took out my savage today for a run. The problem is my steering. When the wheels are off the ground the tires move left to right with no problem. Once I start driving the steering is almost nonexistent. I can basically drive only in a straight line.

I have a hitec hi torque servo and it's pretty new! I'm just frustrated now. Please help! I thank anyone for their feedback. Thanks, Dave.

That almost sounds like a voltage issue.. almost like its not getting enough power when the throttle servo is being operated at the same time. while its sitting still try steering it while your full throttle see if its affected when that happens when its off the ground.

Thx for the reply! It's only affected slightly when given full throttle. The tires still move when off ground. Which that means they should turn when truck is rolling right?? They barely turn at all when driving. Thx

What about your batteries are they good ? because it should turn fine when rolling... if everything is connected and no issues with wires i would imagine the batteries would be low since they are actually having to steer with weight on them. And what about your dual rate the knob that says D/R is that up or down ?

There was a user on here with almost the same issue with turning https://www.rcnitrotalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=92358 but his didnt turn at all and it turned out that his receiver connectors were mixed up but i dont think thats the issue here since they turn its just seem to not have the power when there is weight on them.

All I had to do was tighten the servo saver spring and I was set to go! Thx for the help!

No problem. its funny cuz usually on forums we always think of the worse that can happen.
