Savage X Hump Pack problem

When I bought my savage x last year I was sold a Hump Pack battery with it, i,ve only just got around to trying to fit it, but the connecter on it is different to the one on the original battery holder. I tried plugging it directly into the receiver but it seems to by-pass the on/off switch.
Anyone got any ideas how I can get around this?

you will need to buy the right switch .they dont cost alot

You need the futaba lead with switch

Yeah either that or the switch for the XL it comes with the hump pack already installed

How do you get the old switch out, does it unscrew or something

just take the 2 front screws out and slide it up
