Do to an extreme amount of boredom; I tried to see what would have to be done to mount a standard savage cage on to a savage X.

Here is the results of my research. The only drawback is that it will add 2 more screws to remove the diffs. So instead of 6, there will be 8.

Please post any suggestions or questions.

Had to edit the picture. It is 3/8 of a inch from bottom not 3/4. If you already looked at this page and the picture still says 3/4 then just hold SHIFT and click on REFRESH at the same time. This will reload images on the page.

What brand of cage is that?
RC Solutions. They are one of our Fourm sponsors. The Savage X cage is not due out till this summer. That is talking to Scott directly at RCX.

Yeah that is what he told me in an email yet the guys at the RCX show from RC solutions said the cage would be out in two weeks to a month

Use your Macro feature. Normally the feature allows you to take close up shots at 8-12 inches..

One of mine...

I'm using a Canon digital Rebel XT. It has got to be the best camera I have ever owned.
