Savage X Brakes

I just got my savage x yesterday and my brakes are not tight enough it take like 2 sec's to stop at 5mph how can i fix this? i think it's the throttle/brake servo

Mine is a .25, but to get the brakes to work well I added a longer piece of fuel tubing to the linkage between the adjusting knob and servo horn.

get 2 springs from a couple of pens, twist them together. Put them on in front of your tubing. My LHS also told me to put a small bend in the post where it goes into the piston. Works awesome on my 25.

i was think of that but i didn't think of tightening the screw closer to the spring which worked thanks anyways
