Hey guys, I am new to the full scale R/C world. I just purchased a brand new HPI Savage X 4.6. I have followed the Manuel exactly as instructed. Before I could even break my r/c in I ran into an issue. I put the batteries(brand) new in the cartridge (correctly) an plugged it up to my reciever box an servo connector. But when I turn them on I get a quick flash in the reciever an that is it. I have my radio on the instructed channels from the Manuel correlating to my reciever. Nothing will work. No throttle, no steering, no brakes. I even bought new batteries cause I thought the ones it came with May have went dead. What do I do??

Welcome!

What do I do??

Probably have to bind the receiver and transmitter. Somewhere in your accessories there should be a bind plug, and somewhere in the manual there will be instructions. Usually install the bind plug in channel 3 or VCC port on the receiver, turn on the transmitter, hold the "bind" button on the transmitter while you turn on the receiver, then shut everything off and remove the bind plug.

Some receivers have a bind button that you hold while switching on.

Edit:

Here ya go:
