hey i was wondering how do you get your savages to do wheelies I've tuned my to perfection and it still wont pull wheelies even in the grass I've even stiffened the springs on the shocks also how do you get a stock savage 25 with stiff shock springs to do wheelies???

i dunno, mine pulles wheelies just fine. it has the stock s25 in it, tuned well, stock pretty much everything except for a 3 shoe clutch i have in it, and GS Storm wheels and tires, though they dont have an effect on it pulling wheelies i like them because it gives a wider more stable stance.

Does it spin the tires ? mabe its just not getting enough traction

you could get aluminum clutch shoes, they are real good, rapid responce.Or change the clutch bell to a smaller tooth for more torque, soften the suspension so that the weight transfer will help the wheels meet the sky.

Maybe your slipper clutch is slipping, maybe try tightening that up a bit. My Savage never wheelied with the S-25.

try takeing a shim out of the engine i done it and you get a bit more power to pull wheelies.

I had the same problem, I could never get a wheelie out of my savage. I put a ribbed pipe and motor saver air filter on it and still no wheelies. The i blew my clutch up and installed an aluminum clutch shoe set. Now it does wheelies on demand. Snap the throttle and it flips on its roof.

alright ill try the aluminum clutch shoe i should put new clutch shoes in my one savage ne way. but thanks for the help

I'm getting a savage REALLY SOON. I wanted to know if I got the carbon 3 shoe clutch, would my savage do wheelies? I dont want it to flip on its roof every time, just enough to get a solid wheelie (controllable) if ya know what I mean...

To get wheelies buy the new savage 4.6 you will have no problems then!!!! Your next post after that will be were can I buy a wheelie bar..Why do you want to wheelie so bad??

If you are into wheelies get a wild willy i hear they really wheelie well.

LMFAO that was good man...Dam guys can't even get there mt't to wheelie let alone there buggys lol

Actually got pretty decent wheelies out of my old stock 25. When it was tuned for perfection - mild ocassional wheelies on a 15 cb 49 spur.

With a 15 cb, 52 spur it was pretty beasty. Not too bad of a top end either for that much torque.

Now I'm tuning in a SH 28, should be breaking stuff soon....
