savage vs tmaxx

This is a subject that has been beat to death. Unless someone has a Tmaxxx 3.3 against a Savage X SS... I would do a search for this subject.

More replies have been made about these two trucks more than any other two trucks.
 
Hard to say as the TMaxx has better hop ups now and options. The Savage is pretty strong so its a toss up. IMO I would go savage as it is Big Block ready. That alone is worth getting the savage.
 
I've got a T-Maxx 3.3 with a ton of hop-ups, but I'm still envious of a Savage X SS.

its been done. my savy vs my friends tmaxx 3.3 on a old deserted airport runway. the tmaxx had me for about...2 feet.
 
I too have both, and both are stock. On a one to one basis although I love my Maxx, the Savage is better (savage x). I dont really know that its stronger, but it just works better. Plus although there are millions of hopups available for both, the savage hopups compliment bashing and jumping, which seem to be what the sav' is best known for.
