I was running my savage today, when I guess i pissed someone off cause he decided to get in his Ford Explorer and run my truck over. My savage was stuck under his truck and he dragged it for 50 feet. I called the police and when they came out they pretty told me theres nothing they can do, if I want him to pay for the damage I'll have to take him to court. :hammer:

HOLY crap!! The popos didnt do anything? Take his ass to court, if someone ran over my rc, I would go up to his car and take a baseball bat to it, lol. Then I would say, we are even!
 
Hell ya, u better make him pay dude!!!!!!!!! I feel for u man, that sucks, because ur gonna be down for a while now.If someone ran over my rc, i would do what pissant said, i would take a nice heavy metal baseball bat to his explorer. But then, i still wouldnt say we were even. My neighbors sometimes get mad at me and my dad for driving our trucks, and they take their little chitzus(dogs) and make them chase our trucks, but then we just turn around and chase them back down the street. 13 pounds vs. 8 pounds!!
 
Better talley up the damage first and see how much it will be. Get a quote from a LHS to replace/ fix anything to get it back to running condition. Go NEW!!! Also if the total is more than 500 than it may be considered a small claims still. Check with your local laws.
 
In NY, you have 24 hours to make a police report reguardless.

If you have his plate number, you can get his info.

A police report will help your case. Get one if you can.
 
I have his plate number, the police said it's gonna take 5 days to get the police report. I thought about the baseball bat idea, but the police would instantly come to me, so I'll end up doing it the legal way or do nothing at all.
 
That stinks. Were you running it in front of his house and did he complain in the past?
 
sorry to hear pain. if the parts to fix it cost less than $60 then go ahead and fix it. here i cali it cost $60 to file a small claims.
 
Forget his car, just whip his assssss!!!!! That is how we do it down South. If he has the balls to run over your truck then he has the balls to meet ya in the middle of the street. Sounds childish but it'll make ya feel better.

Well heres another idea, if u or one of ur buddyes have a savage that has a decent motor in it and is built up of aluminum, play a game with him.
I call this game "ANKLE BREAKERS" :hammer: :boxing:

poop thats what I was thinkin.. Id beat someones ass if they ran my savage over on purpose.. Accident, I can maybe see, and I guess itd be half my fault for not getting off the road when a car was coming but Id still be pissed.. How old are ya? And if your younger, whatd your parents have to say about the whole deal?

Actually it doesn't look that bad for being ran over by a vehicle.. He must have barely just got ya huh? My guess would be its going to cost you more to even file the court report than it would be just to fix it. Its also $60 here in Mn. Good luck though either way, and be sure to keep us posted.

4u2nv -I'm 23, so I'll be handling this on my own. as far as whipping his ass, the guy took off and I have no idea who he is. I have to wait for the police report to come back cause it will have his name on it.

I don't know how much it has to be to file a small claims in RI, but my truck needs 4 shocks and new rims and tires. I guess I'm lucky he didn't run it over with the tires.

I have 4 stock shocks and 4 uper and lower arms if you want to get it up and running. PM me you're address and I'll send them you're way on Monday. Free. I also have 4 rims and tires but to send them I'll need like $10.00 shipping. but you can have those also
