What do you guys think? Should I get the Savage X conversion kit? I like the TVP's and Radio box. What do you savage X owners and Savage owners think? Is it worth the cashola or not?

i seen the conversion for like 100-120 buns somewere. it had everything that is new on the x included. that would be worth it i think, just for easyer diffs, and rado box. you can't even get lcg tvp's for that.

Check out dom's thread in the supporters section $99. I don't own a savage, but to me just the ease of changing things and working on it would be worth the cashola.

Aren't those lcg tvps also? Just that would be worth it too.

Yeah that is what I was thinking. Sweetdeisel can get em at his LHS. I am still debating whether to keep the Savage and upgrade or lower my price to sell it.

I love my X, mainly the fact I can charge up the Rx batt without takin off the radio box cover lol. I also love the rollcage just to protect the engine, my heatsink would have been silver by now haha. I haven't had to pull the diffs yet but it does look very quick and simple. Haven't pulled the tranny either. If your lazy, its worth it haha. What does the kit come with? Does it have the wheels tires? The LCGs are nice, it doesn't seem to roll over nearly as much as my old savage did.

if i didnt just pick up nice carbon fiber tvp's along with a few other things i think i would jump on it...but thats mainly for the easy access diffs

I think taking out the original savages are easy. Once you get used to it you can actually do it in 4-5 min.

Or you could do it in 10 seconds.
Are you doin your math right? or is the battery on your watch a little weak? LOL .

Heck I just want it to be easier to access. I want to be able to remove the tvps to clean and inspect for damage.

The radio box is a plus.

TVPs= Twin Vertical Plates

The Savage chassis uses a twin vertical plate setup instead of a flat pan style like the T-Maxx.
