after owning a t maxx for a few years i was getting jelous of my dads savage not breaking! so i bought a savage with a truckzilla conversion but with the sts 30 engine.
after the first test run i had found the rear diff had blown, so i diff-locked that and upgraded the front to a steel gear set. next test the reverse module blew up the 3 speed tranny. so i replaced the broken gears.
eventually i managed to have a good bashing session. at the end i stripped the 14mm hex in the big wheels, so invested in the 17mm hex XL wheels and tyres and the extended axels to go with them. took it out for another bash with my dad and had a hell of a good time!! jumping is amazing with the savage, and nothing broke!!
will post a few pics of the savage in the next day or so, and will try and get some video of our trucks bashing this sunday!
