I'm sure this has been asked before but I'm not sure if any new tires have came out sense then so here it goes..

I have been looking around and there are so many different choices as far as tires go I have no idea what ones are best! I want a all terrain tire mostly just for

Hard packed dirt
Blacktop(onroad just for fun no racing)
grass
and big air so I guess thick sidewalls?
I don't care much for the tractor style tread feels like your driving on ice.
What are you opinions on what tire to go for?

Sorry for asking a question that has been asked over and over, I just wanted to be for sure! before I buy

Thanks!

Thanks for your input!
I have a savage x and at the moment it has some HPI Nubz I believe..

I'm looking for a long lasting tire and I don't think bow tie, dirt bones, or nubz will give me that but once again thanks for your input!.

In Maxx size tires I like Proline Mashers and Losi Zombie maxx tires. The Zombie's have better traction but the Mashers lasted longer, can't go wrong with either one IMO.

In the 40 size, big joes, dirt hawgs, Mashers and Moabs will all give decent traction and will last for a while.

You can also look at the Maxx Mulchers in both sizes, great traction but won't last as long as the above mentioned.

Thanks Smaxxin!
Based off of that info I think I'll get me some Zombie maxx tires.

I have some mashers on my Revo but they felt like driving on glass when your on hard surface, but they handled jumps ok!

These will fit the zombie maxx correct?

Yes those wheels will work.

You have a set of Proline Mashers or stock chevrons? I run mashers and they stick to blacktop pretty good, the stock chevrons are a different story...My sons 2wd Maxx will actually drift (not slide) on hard surface with the stockers.

I have proline maxx mashers on my revo, I used them on road a couple times and they are ok I guess but they feel funny I don't really know how to explain it...

They're ok and they seem to hook up ok most of the time, but like I said they just kinda feel funny to me.

On your sons maxx do you mean the stocker revo tire or the stock 2.5 tmaxx tires?

If your talking about the 2.5 tmaxx tire I know what you mean..
My uncle has 2 t maxxes(He's actually the one that got me interested in rc) and they slide all over the place on the road I was driving on, but man are they fun to drive!

The Tmaxx in general are fun to drive and he has the old first release maxx.

He says he never drives them any more.. considered offering him a little for one of em just because its another "emergency RC" for when I'm suffering from withdraw and my other RCs are broken!

Oh and Thank you very much!

Added to my"I want it but can't afford it yet" list. man it's a long list...

 Yea thats for sure but they look like the would be a heck of a tire for jumping if you could ever stop the truck from sliding all over the place!
