ok my question is. i have a savage that is supossed to be a SS not a 25 not a xSS but just a savage SS it has all stainless parts and says just SS on the body. and has a HPI .25BB on it. were can i get info on it. it seems to be 3 channel and i can't tell if the 3rd channel is a reverse or a shift servo. anyone no about this truck?

The third channel would be used for reverse. I still have my original SS, and they did not come with any radio gear or servos. They shift like a Maxx with a centrifugal clutch, so you don't need a channel for that. But if it has the reverse module you will need a three channel radio and receiver.

ok cool so its really old then?? its just a Savage SS here is a pic thanks for info

Yep, thats the one, I love mine! That ribbed pipe makes awesome low end power, and tuned right those 25 engines run great, mine is still running strong after all these years. Those stock shocks are really good too. The one thing you will want to do is pull the diffs, they came stock with only a two spider diff, you will definately want to upgrade them to a four spider set up. Other than that they are awesome trucks.

ok so it is just called a Savage SS
I'm puting a spektrum set on it right now

and I'm not keeping it its for sale *not a for sale ad mods, just info*

Hey looks like mine!...but then i'm even older, I have a 21 :) You're right the shocks are great, mines still living after all these years. Gotta love the classics eh!
