RC Driving Style
after tuning my savage with a new savage25 tank without the primer the truck doesn't seem to shift. i'm running a 18 pinion with the 49 spur, i'v tried in .25 turn incriments both looser and tighter on the 2 speed setting screw with no luck. it seems stuck in second, is this possible? i'm running the truck as lean as i can on the high end without going above 280 at about 1/4 tank. any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!
 
You may have the truck so lean that the high RPMs don't allow you to hear it shift from first to second because it's so fast. It may sound like it's stuck in second. Try re-adjusting your HSN to your normal running temps then look in the manual for the stock 2-speed setting and go from there. you shouldn't have to turn in the adjustment to far in from stock.
 
I think I'm stuck in first gear with my Truckzilla. Probably my backyard isn't big enough for it to shift, or the .46 engine's 23,000 max rpm isn't good enough...

Does anyone with a Truckzilla had to readjust the transmission for the slower engine?
