i am just wondering if the savage ss kit that tower hobbies is offering in there ultimate combo is worth the 550.00. trying to convince wife it is worth it .
 
Typically what Tower offeres as their combos are nowhere near top of the line radio gear. If your going to buy an SS kit, do yourself a favor and buy the parts seperatly. You will probably spend more than $550 but you will KNOW you have some good quality radio gear.

went to lhs and put the ss kit and 2 ch radio on lay a way.
actually came out about 10.00 cheaper than the rtr. was also told that the kit included stronger driveshafts than the rtr so it handles the power of the .25 better. now if i can just scrape up the money to go get it out. hopefully for christmas i will have it
