Hey i know someone out there has a hitec 645 steering servo on their savahge and I'm thinkg about getting one, i need to kn o is it good or not , and what u think about it, yes or no, and if it will work together with the stock trottle servo on the savage thanx please reply soon thanx:cool:

I don't have one but from everything I've read they do. Take your steering servo and replace the throttle servo with it. I believe the steering servo has more torque.

I have the servo on 2 cars. Its the best 39 bucks you can spend. all 3 metal gears, very strong, do it!. I'm still using the stock savage servo its holding up good.

I have one. Just make sure you upgrade to bearings in the bell crank, a good servo saver, a hump pack and traxxas metal rod end balls for the steering arm. It will then be the best steering RC truck on the road.

If you are going to replace the servo saver, an excellent one is made under the "Kimbrough" name. If you can find one of these for you srevo make they are far superior to the factory one. I have one installed on my Losi, Mugen, HPI car, and need to buy one yet for my Savage (along with other steering upgrades). I am using a HiTec metal gear but don't remeber the number at the moment.
