Savage picture forum

Now that is a bitchin Savage, that is what I am saving my money to get. A friend built me a savage but I think the motor is toast. Have had it for 5 months and can't get it to run right but I am not giving up on this hobby quite that easy.

Thanks Boutch, and yes. A friend of mine built it for me for some work I did for him. I picked out the body and the color and he did the painting and the decals. I just installed a new Axial .28 Spec 1s engine and am in the middle of breaking it in. Also have installed hardened clutch bell and metal spur gear 16/47. The new engine seems like a brute and I can't wait till the break in is done. :hamster:

here is a video of miketroll357's truck during the early start of its life. The gas tank had a bad air leak and it only had 2wd. The engine was won in a pink race. I was finding out it also had a bad leak. the previous owner had used some type of rtv and glued the carb in place. These people walk among us! lol

Hey Nitroghost, you ought to take some pics of your other rigs and post them on here. Nitroghost is the one who got me into this hobby and I am having alot of fun with it. This guy can tune a engine like I have never seen. He has lots of experience to say the least.:cool:

Not too many options added to it. Futaba 3PM 2.4 GHZ radio.
steering bearings.
and a HPI battery monitor for the rx battery.
Oh, and Associated MGT wheels and tires. I just like that design.
 
I love every savage i have seen on here, so awsome:) grats everyone! i can't wait to get mine and start modding it, looks so much fun.
 
♠So would i Maddogjez only problem is that the front diff was broken at that time... :(

When the diff is fixed i will post more.....

Hey everyone, here are a few pics/vids of my new savage X SS. I've ran a Gallon and a half of 30% fuel through it so far, and its performing well, great fun, I'm loving it:) Check out the pics (sorry, some pics are a bit blurry, bad quality etc) These pics are taken at an old abandond Lead Mines that we go to, its the perfect spot:D

WOW!! BOUTCH, that's seriously beautiful. I've been pimping and painting mine almost all day and was looking forward to posting here. It pales in comparison to yours. Just gorgeous. Best of luck with it.
