my savy .25 is really pissing me off, it will start great but will not idle for more then a few sec. then dies I have goosed the throttle but then it dies. Whats wrong is it rich, lean what.
MC9 Glowplug, Blue Thunder 20%, 95deg outside, HSN 1 full turn in, LSN flush Idle flush

I also just did the uniflow mod

If I do that then my idle is almost closed. I think it is just to hot out side, I have never run my Savy in 95 deg weather, i will what till later when it cools to see if I can get it to work.

well i think your too rich. Just Adjust Until Its Sweet Again...its the s-25 engine right? mine had the same problem. then when i got it running it seized. thats why i bought a venom temp monitor today. it helps alot for you wasp and collari ppl who have to re tune more often than other engines.

I had to lean mine out a full turn after break in. It ran soooo rich I couldn't even let it idle for 2 seconds before it would die.

I could give it some throttle and hold it back. It would run, but as soon as I let off the juice it would die.

If the truck is new (3-4 tanks) this is probably your problem.

dude id just get a new engine cough my hyper cough. jm I'm just trying to sell that thing. (My Wasp doesn't Know I Had Another Love)!!! :) LOL. Well Yeah Like every one has been saying lean it! My s-25 wasn't very successful but from other experience from my other engines your too lean. Have you got it yet tarant? Hey Do you Still wanna Buy My S-25? no one else wants it...

Maybe check the fuel lines for air leaks. If it's getting a bubble it can play havoc with idling. The vacuum isn't enough to pull the air through fast enough and it will starve the engine. Just another idea!

I hope so, I got made and tore down the engine and gave a good bath, and I found that when I had sealed my carb with silicon, I got a bit of iti n one of the holes that is on the HSL stem,
I am thinking that is my problem. but I will see tomarrow
