Are you running with the stock spur gear?? If so the sand may get in between the spur gear and CB, if a big enough piece gets in there you run the chance of breaking off teeth and thus stripping the gear so be carefull if you are running the stock plastic spur gear, if you are running a metal spur gear by all means sand bash to your hearts content!! Also be extra sure the air filter is secure to the carb, use a zip tie to keep it on the carb you don't want it falling off in a sandy environment, very bad news if that were to happen, after you are done bashing in the sand take the time to really clean up your ride, use an air compressor if you have one handy, be sure to clean extra good around the air filter where it goes on the carb and blow out any sand that maybe down in the heat sink around the glow plug, don't forget those saftey goggles, flying sand in the eyes is nasty! Otherwise have lots of fun in the sand, post some pics if you can get some!
