So i recently ordered a savage x 4.6 about 3 weeks ago. literally when i got it in the mail the very first thing that came to mind was "hot bodies" i instantly started looking every day on google for hot bodies UFO wheels. After about 2 weeks of looking i gave up on looking for UFO's.
About a week later i was looking again for about 2 days on google and ebay searching for tons of different search descriptions and the only lead to these wheels was RC planet. they only had 1 pair of hot bodies revolution wheels. I looked on google images and said ill take em. then literally searching up the revolutions i could not find another pair and thought i would just end up having 1 pair of these wheels and never find another. But some how i eventually came across a bran new pair on ebay for 34 dollars. instantly made my week.
I just love the size of these wheels. they are amazing and i love the look.. everything about these wheels are perfect in my opinion. I just dont think a savage is a savage with out hot bodies wheels.
Moving on i also ordered a hump battery pack on ebay for about 24 dollars that came with the charger, a connector that plugs into faster chargers witch i have so that worked out nicely, and ofcourse the 1400 MAH battery pack. I kind of wanted a higher MAH but at the time i was on a budget.
what came out of the box
Took this out
the connector for the battery pack actually had a connector for the receiver and for the connector for the battery pack but the connector for the receiver was useless because the on/off switch was hardwired to it so i decided to change that connector with the original battery packs connector so i can just use the port hole on the battery lid for quick easy charges.
then some double sided tape to keep it steady in there when bouncing around.
planted
Then for the rubber piece on the battery lid just slit that but i couldnt find my exacto knife handle so had to do it this way.
And thats it for now. The other pair of wheels are on their way so I'm excited to see that fed ex truck pull to my drive way and drop them off.
Next upgrade forsure going to get maybe the 255 oz turning servo cuz i know the stock one is going to take a beating with these on this truck. But for now I'm very happy and i now feel like i own a savage. Ever since i had my first nitro rc t maxx my friend had a savage with truckzilla kit and that was like a real savage to me. so i just think these wheels finish the look right.
Let me know what you guys think !!
