savage gears

when i go full throttle on my savage rather than changing gears it stops and the engine dies whats wrong? it used to shift normally

My knee jerk reaction is you are too lean and that is causing the engine to die when it shifts out.

what do you mean by too lean?

Your engine might be too lean on the high speed needle. I had that happen once on a buggy....too lean sh when it would shift gears it would flame out and die.

Open, but just a little at a time.

more fuel = richer.. turn fuel screw out
less fuel = leaner.. turn fuel screw in
too lean will make it run hot too
