IS the savage a racing monster truck or a driver but i think a 2.5 t-MAXX IS FASTER then a savage because the maxx goes 40 does a savage go that fast or how fast does it go

Wow,
That sure is a lot to pack into one sentence.
Why don't you use the search function and see if you can find the answer to your questions.

Re-post any thing that you are not able to find on your own.
I do believe all your questions have been answered before.

All I have to say is: speed aint crap without control. Put a Hyper 8 or an Outlaw 26 into a savage and you'll have both. Out of the box, the T has speed, but I've heard and seen how uncontrollable they can be because they're so light.

Yeah Eddy, it's :spam, but I did say something. Gotta get my avatar soemtime.

Good point. Remember mine from a few weeks ago with the 21bb in it and an 18T clutch bell, it was literally uncontrolably if I made any steering adjustment while in 1st gear.

I think they should stop putting all that "40 mPH +" and whatever on the boxes and ads. All these people want nothing but speed then can't control the thing and end up wondering why so much stuff gets broken. The stock 21BB is a handfull for someone that needs to learn how to drive an R/C. Start racing and it doesn't take long to find out that speed is a small part of how to place in the top 5, yet alone the top 3 or win. Sometimes slowing down makes you got faster.

There is an adjustment on the radio for that. It’s the one with the ST.D/R on it. It comes in handy with WOT.

I can keep my savage under pretty good control with 1 hand, most of the time. But, with the hyper 8 port, a decent pipe and a 16t CB, I refuse to run my truck on the sidewalk in front of my house, even using two hands to drive. It's just too fast, and the temptation to go WOT is too great to risk doing cartwheels into someones car. The dual rate knob is there only for looks. It really should be called the gut factor knob, and it should be set to 10 at all times. If it aint, get a Tyco.
