I lost one if eclips that hold the bumpers in.

You can only get that part by getting a new bumper set (and cannot justify that). Consequently, I put some zip tie to hold it in place. I'll test it tomorrow, but curious for any other suggestions if this does not hold up.

Pic 1: The side with the ckip
Pic 2: The other side and how I secured it

Thanks

Why not just go to a hardware store and get an e-clip in the size needed?

The clip he's referring to is plastic and not actually an e-clip.

I bet the zip tie holds up just fine.

Yup it'll work fine, not a whole lot of obstacles pull against the bumper, everything seems to push against my bumper

Yeah, I did look at HD and really could not find anything that would work well. The main concern is loosing (another) shaft pin. I've zip-tied the bumper arms to keep those plates in front of the shaft. I wish the shafts could be tapered somehow. I understand the sway-bar kit--which I'm interested in getting--does a better job at securing the pins.

Send HPI an email. You'd be surprised.

If this is intended toward me, I've actually thought about that (calling to see if they have any extra laying around)...and no would not be surprised if they did. The one thing I really like about this hobby is its customer service. So far the zip ties have held up....it will just be a beating to get them off so think I will call HPI to see if I can get the hook up. ;-)
