savage big block swapout

i have a savage x with a 4.6 and am looking for more power looking for suggestions on a swap for it and dont wana spen more than 250 thanks anybody fopr input

I'm sort of in the same market myself. A lot of people rave about the Picco .28 (pull start). There's also the O.S. 30 (roto start version), the Novarossi Plus 3-port .28 (roto start), Dynamite .28 (pull start), Sirio .30 (roto start)

I've recently heard that the OFNA Picco .28 is "faster" than the O.S. 30VG. However, I dont' know about bottom end. All of those engines can be found at http://www.amainhobbies.com/index.php/cPath/1_23_79

I got a axail 32spec on my x it is afordable runs the hole tank!!no mid tank syndrome weeles like crazy gear it right and it can be a killer truck,

The Picco .28 is a beast on bottom and top end!
