what imbroken is trying to say is, use the search function. your question has been asked, and answered many, many, many times. if you want information do some research first, then if you STILL dont understand or can't find your answer, then post a question. a quick jog over to www.hpiracing.com will tell you if the savy 4.6 has a roto plate. and a stroll through the savage section of this forum will give you plenty of insight on your new (or soon to be new) truck.
dont get me wrong, i or anyone else on this great sight dont mind helping anyone, as long as they try to help themselves first. i or anyone else on rcnt dont like answering the same question a bazzillion times just because someone can't hit the search link and type in a few words.
