i have a savage x with the 4.6 and it has the stock pipe and where the hose goes for the tank pressure seems to small for the hose i have not seen any hose with that small of an id any ideas or what other pipe would you suggest????

thanks.
:p:

I would pick up a HPI polished pipe off eBay for around 15 bucks if you can still find them for that cheap. Its a good pipe for the stock engine.

Ribbed pipe was made for the savage 21 engine to give it low end. It isn't worth buying it for the stock .28 engine IMO. You can buy a nice pipe like a ofna 086 pipe (about 33 bucks online) and get way better performance for about the same price as a ribbed pipe...

Just get a HPI polished pipe and it will make you happy :)

I tried the polished pipe and found I get better performance with the ribbed.

The inside diameter is often going to be smaller than the fuel tubing you put on it. As long as it works as advertised and you are happy with it there is no reason to replace your pipe. So here are a couple questions....Does the fuel line stay where it is supposed to? If yes there is not a problem. Does the pipe presure port allow enough to pressurize to the tank? If yes, then again there is not a problem. If things are working and you are happy with it there is not a problem. Don't spend the money just because someone else says to.

every thing is working fine other than the line does not stay on the pressure port of the pipe and there is no room for a zip Tye it just seems like the port is to small for the line and i have cut it back a bit just in case the line was streched at the end.

thanks.

I know this sounds back-woods but find some thin wire a bit thicker than a twist tie and put a couple wraps around it and cinch it down. See it that holds it on.

Dubro makes some bulk fuel line with smaller Id's. check your LHS befor you buy another pipe.
