RC Driving Style
hey everyone I've got a savage 4.6 big block and its been running sweet untill this morning when i started it ..
when its sat idling it makes a clicking sound and jolts forward ? when driving it doesn't seem to be opening up to full power either it normally makes good use of the wheelie bar can anyone help? :(

I would check the clutch bell bearings ,and the clutch springs .But it sounds like you have a bad bearing.

I hope this helps

ED

Could be a broken clutch shoe. Bad clutch spring, I would pull the engine and pull the bell gear off and see what I had going on in there. As stated above also check your bearings.

It could Also be that your head bolts are loose Whig would make it loose power . Happens a lot on hpi's because they don't use loc-tight

Idk if savage does the same as the tmaxx in that matter but that could be the Low Speed Needle..

Everyone talking about the more mechanical issue.. i personally think its tunning .. maybe I'm wrong. but good luck out.

P.S. adjust your throttle trim while its running and notice if its creeping forward righen your lsn or idle screw

What would the clicking noise have to do with tuning? It does not have the same tranny set-up as a 2.5 T-maxx they don't have the jumping problem. As well as the head bolts......Highly doubtful.
