savage 3 speed Transmission problems

when I'm driving my savage i dont here the 3rd gear change and when i accelerate really fast the truck doesn't take off like it should.

so if u know anything about this please help

check the slipper clutch & pad to be sure the pad is in good shape......mite have to tighten the slipper clutch a little......check out the clutch shoes & springs to see if the shoes are warn away too much or any springs are broken......then if those things check out ok youll have to go into the transmission which is a pain if you havent done it before......in the transmission look for striped/worn gears, broken sheer pin & if you have the reverse module in the transy look over that good......the reverse mod has realy thin gears & is a weak link in the transy
