It looks like a Savage .21 with a few cool parts. I'm getting a SS 4.6 kit soon, I don't know why they would release one with a .21 .

yup, looks like an updated Savage .21 RTR. I bet because of the release of the Savage 4.6 which includes upgrades from the weaknesses that were discovered in the original kits, they're offering the RTR with some of those upgrades as well.

it looks like it will be a "budget" savage kinda like a se kinda cool though it has all the mods the 4.6 kit has in a rtr ....wonder what the price point will be

they say it's got 2 needle carb instead of a 3 needle carb so it is easier to tune for beginners and they say it is good value for money so i think it might be for beginners.

It makes no sense to release this with a .21 engine. They should have released it with the .25 engine.

This kit will not be released in North America, according to HPI USA. The press release was from HPI Europe, where the .21 engine continues to sell very well.

Well, if the .21 continued to sell very well in Europe then I could see how this kit makes some sence, but still I don't think its worth it.
