First thread, and I thought I'd make it a cake-walk for the Savage Blasters who have some nitro under thier belts. I'm on gallon numero two, but I'm on 8 batteries in my reciever. The bunny has spent his juice by around 4 hours of "Dirt Doggin"! Is this right?

Hey "pissant"! (sound funny say'in "pissant", but I'm hav'in a brew, (it's snowing soooo)). Thanx for the info, The drop in nimh batts sounds like the way to go, Bro!

Hasta Umbliqo!

I'm through about 3-4 sets of batteries after 2 gallons. Not the worst, but she does seem to like the juice. I think pissant has the right idea. For 20 bucks, to hell with raiding AA's from the children's toys every few weeks. Not to mention having to open that pesky receiver clamshell open.

BlueRidge1 I'm see'in it! I went on line and ordered HPI hump 6V and a Futaba charger. What will I do with all those extra batts??? ...... Hunny wait up.... I'll be right there!

My friend was complaining about the same thing. He was running a tank through it and the following day the batteries were dead. After 5 tanks he had to change the batteries three times!

Ya this sucks it happens to me too. In my lightning. But once i got the 1100mah receiever pack it makes a huge diff. Plus your suervos are stronger after that because of more voltage.....Nick

I got the HPI 1200 hump pack fitted into my Sav 25 and while they last a bit longer than AA's and the brakes/steering are better, I don't think they are lasting long enough. I could only afford a cheapo overnight charger at the time and I think this might be the cause.
How long do you guys get out of your receiver batteries? I am running stock electrics apart from a Hitec 645MG steerin servo.

Also, could you recommend a good charger? I think you guys have different mains power plugs than we do in the UK but I could always get an adapter I suppose.
