Hey guys,
Been looking at threads and can't find answers 4 my questions.
Looking at getting Savage 25.
Top speed out of box:
Wheelies:
What is the best after market motor, i plan on small bashing, playing round with buddies and their trucks, and a little bit of racing(most likely not at the track. I am looking for more power but more top also(reliable):

????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

XTM X-CELLERATOR

Top speed out of box: 35-45mph this varies on tuning abilities and running conditions. I have heard of people rarley breaking the 35mph barrier stock, however I have also heard and seen myself the Savage 25 getting into the low 40's.
Wheelies: Again this depends on tuning abilities and conditions. I recomend buying a 52T spur gear for better wheelies and off-roading. You will lose some speed on the top end.
What is the best after market motor: I have not had any experience whatsoever besides Nitro-Star engines in my cars and trucks. The Toki 28 is well recommended here. (Take Note that the Toki 28 is also the Wasp, Fantom 27, Peak and Team Infinity 28s.)

The main plus of the Savage Is Its toughness nd durability out of the box. If you want high top speed I sugest a On-Road car.

Any other questions you may have please PM me or post here.

Welcome to RCNT and have a nice day.

I bought my savage 21 a few months ago, and ran only a single gallon of fuel through it, man is that thing tons of fun. Its worth it 110%. I'm guessing that if you put a 52T spur gear in there wheelies should be no problem. From what I have heard the 21 can do around 30MPH, that is super fast for a truck that big, I can't imagine it going any faster too. Not sure what the 25 could do, but I'm sure its better than the 21. As far as durability, the savage rocks.
