I'm thinking about getting a truck and I can't decide between a savage 25 or the Ofna Titan twin.. My buddy has the Savage and its a great truck but i was wondering if anybody could tell me how the Titan Twin measures up as far as durability and speed. I was also wondering if anybody had experience with the twin engine setup for the Savage. All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Sweeeeeeet.

I thing The Ofna Titan Truck has Really Good Look I had one of that things and it is really nothing but the Look .....But Savage 25 I The Case man Take Savage you feel much more Confurtable With That Truck Because When When All Comes to all With Ofna titan In a Track Desert What ever Ofna Will never be able to do Things that Savage Can its just how it is

Purchased savage after reading a lot on this website. It's been to the skate park a few times and between it, a tmax and a mammoth, it's the only one still running. I am completely amazed of the abuse it takes and still able to drive like nothing happened.

Don't know about durability issues for the mammoth yet but between the maxx and the savage out of the box the savage is stronger. Now I hear that the Monster GT is an up and comer in that department though.

K Bomb,
I have a friend who had the Ofna Titan Twin engine from last Nov. It was good with awesome looks and lots of power (well it's twin engine kinda what you'd expect). After 2 weeks he started having problems tuning both and making them both engines perform consistently. The engines took turn in performance, unfortunately never both worked well at the same time. After 1.5 months he sold it in ebay for a 30% loss.
I recommend going with the Savage 25.

I've had my Savage 25 RTR since October and it has seen some rough bashing and a Maxx or two head on. What has broke? Well, 2 antenna straws at .75 each. 1 spur gear for a few bucks. And I've had the rotostart gears strip once in the handheld part, but fine now - at HPI's expense.

Overall, the big qestion always is: "Would you buy it again if you had to do all over again?"

Yes I would. Tough truck. Good customer service.

As far as the Titan, I can't say anything about it. My advice would be that if you are new to the hobby - no matter how good the Titan is - learn on a good single engine platform first. If you have a lot of nitro experience, then read all you can about the Titan.

You can look at it like an investment, too. Say you don't like the Savage (I doubt it.). No big deal. It'll pull some decent money on E-bay. As far as the Titan though, that's another story.

Thanks for all the advice... After reading your replies I think its gonna be a Savage do to the tunning and durability issues..
