Right when i start her up it runs fine but when i start to accelerate it moves but after a few seconds it will rev much higher than it should do but only move a little faster?

Like the clutch is on it's way out but i've had a look at the clutch,

I think it's fine but i'm not sure what else it may be but i think that the problem goes when i hold the truck up in the air and rev it it spins and revs like it should do,
Could it be something to so with the piston/sleve/starting pin? oh and i've checked the compression and it's fine,
i've got the engine apart like the back plate off, engine head off and the clutch bell off, i'll see if i can get some pics to show you guys.
maybe i should buy a new engine as a back up lie a ftx picco?

Check your Spur Gear, you might have the nut on there too loose. Have you messed w/ the spur gear recently?

Are all 4 tires still spinning? If not, then you might have some diff gear problems.

Let us know what you find.

Hmmm sounds like more of a drive train issue than a engine issue. If you are able to hold it up in the air and the tires spin like they should than the engine sounds fine. If they spin like they should in the air but not on the ground that honestly sounds like some sort of a clutch issue. Have you checked all of the clutch springs to make sure they are still on and seated properly???

Definately not an engine problem if it runs and will rev high, but not move much faster. If the clutch and the slipper check out okay, I would next remove the wheels and see if you stripped out a hex. If one is stripped, the wheels will still spin when off the ground, but most of the power will go to the free spinner when under load, and that could be why it's not picking up speed on the ground.

Also check to make sure your slipper clutch isn't too loose. That could cause it to not move when under load and move fine when not.

my slipper clutch is not loose but is 1/2 turn out, i just recently put a new spur gear on it. i doubt if i have stripped a wheel hex as i've got the pro-line velocity 40 series on them with big joes, all 4 wheels tunr when off the ground so there isn't a diff problem but i'm think it's my clutch because it's a 3 shoe and 2 of them are sort of fine but the 3rd is more worn away then the others well they all are worn quite a bit where the tail of each clutch shoe goes to the head of the next shoe it's lower then it should be,
it's quite hard to explain, like it's worn on the tail alot.

i've heard of people doing this t a t-maxx where they will file away part of the clutch shoes so it rev's higher in neutral then when it moves it will wheelie because there is more rev's.

i didn't try and go WOT becasue just in case i may have damaged something and not to make it worse.

Worn clutch shoes is a possibility. That has happened to my friends NMT. If he put it on a hill and floored it, it would rev up but not go anywhere. But when he put it on level ground it was a little slow but ok. You could try replacing those and see what happens.

but how lonmg should a 3 shoe clutch last because i've had this one go through about 3 1/2 gallons

i've taken a few pic's of my clutch,
Clutch
you can see that it has melted or worn alot on the tail of them. i'm not sure if their fine or not, or do i get some better clutch shoes like aluminium ones!
or just get some stock ones? and a vented clutch bell which i've already got coming.

i would check the flywheel if i where you. I had about the same problem, the cause: loose flywheel.
Hope you'll get it fixt..

i would try tighten up the slipper 1/2 turn out may be too much i personaly lock mine down i think others do 1/4 out might wanna try that first
