I never noticed how the brake disc was mounted before, but yesterday i was running it on a track and all of a sudden the rear wheels locked and only the front tires were driving. So i turned it over to find the brake disc crooked and locked in position against caliper. So i pushed on it and it came loose, really loose. Now it wobbles and sticks quickly. I dont see any retaining screws or anoything, how does this thing stay on? Plus i would imagine my transfer case is blown too since it wont drive rear wheels. sigh. good thing i have 5 vehicles, every time i go out at least 1 car has problems before i even get started, batteries die, or some other crap happens. :D

I had to remove one of my brake discs when I stuffed that monstor motor in my Savage. It has been fine so far and I kinda think it's a little better

brake help

here is the brake setup. hope this helps....if you dont have a center skid plate you might get one especialy if you run in gravel or coarse sand areas....cost about $10....this will help keep oil from the exhaust off the brakepads and heep the disks from getting hit with something & bending or wedging up....
