RC Driving Style
I have My Savage 21 lying Around The House. And I was Just WOndering Can I Convert My Savage 21 to Savage XL? excluding The Engine. My savage 21 has the Hpi K4.6 Engine.
 
Yeah, it's pretty easy to do.
At a minimum you need the XL TVP's and the rear driveshaft.
I can't recall if you can get away with using the original front driveshaft - I think you can, but can't swear to it. Same thought regarding the engine plate.
Since the tranny sits lower, a couple of holes on the original rollbar don't line up.
You can get the newer plastic rollbar or drill new holes.
