hey guys

Weather is getting nice so I might book a trip to a beach. I wanna bring my revo out there. What tire combo do you recommend? Do you need paddles for all 4 tires since its 4wd, or do you just get them for the rear wheels?

Any other tips for running in sand?

I ran in some the other day for a short time and the revo got caked in sand quickly, so I think I'm going to bring a can of air or small compressor next time so i can clean off the filter housing and nitro tank for refueling.

Because the transmission has a solid output shaft, traction front to back shouldn't be to much of a problem, but that's just a guess on my part

I ran some chevrons on mine and had plenty of traction. Make sure to clean the truck thoroughly after sand blasting at the beach.

I have 2 different set ups for soft sand such as beach sand

1) IMEX ribbed front runner's and proline paddles in the rear
2) chevrons from a TMAXX on all four corners( shaved the side of the lugs at aprox 45 degree angle so there is less sidewall bite in the corners

for me both set-up work great is the soft loose stuff
