I don't think it will be a direct drop-in for a T-maxx. The crankcase is a standard .21 size case. You would have to find a engine mount that could take a .21 engine and also fit your chassis at the same time. It was a direct-fit for the savage. So if the Savage engine mount were able to fit on your Maxx chassis, then you would be in business, but I don't think it will work.

Zandor........I was able to drop right in a Picco .21 Max right in the TMaxx before I broke the connecting rod in the .21
If you find the right engine mount, then you should have no problem dropping a .28 in the Maxx I sent ya.
Some places sell a brand new Wasp .28 for $150....I got mine for $150 new.
