dont know if i was able to do this when it was new but........... when the truck is on all 4 tires on the ground when i turn the wheel the wheels dont move. but when i pick up the front end the wheels move very easy. also when driving it seems fine. just curious if this is normal or the servo is going. also it has brand new batteries. changed them 2 times just to make sure the new batteries were new.

Totally normal. Though you'll want to upgrade to a 5 cell nimh hump pack. They deliver more current, which makes for better servo performance and less chance of signal loss.

Yes my maxx does the same thing and i have high torch servo's, completely normal, good batteries are good, don't have the hump pack yet, i use duracell and keep a meter around to make sure they are charged before i run it, a good tip, if you don't have the race guard, i would suggest keeping a meter around to test the batteries....

+1 on normal ops with the traxxas servo and AA's. I've upgtraded to a 5cell hump pack 1700 mAH and a 193 oz/in, almost double the stock servo! Front wheels now move ON DEMAND!

Do the 5 cell hump pack last longer? I get about 30 min out of the 4 AA batteries. The controllers 8 batteries have lasted a long time, probaly about a gallon of gas.

ya mine is the same way and i did install a hump pack big change ! i noticed that on like carpet the wheels are much harder to turn and the servo turns but the servo saver will not let the wheels turn ! check ur truck in dirt it will probly turn ! you can tighten up your servo saver but probley will only hurt not help dont know was thinking about installing my big servo out of my rock crawler. seems ok with hump pack run some more before do anything else!
