S maxx issues

Hi I have a 2.5 s maxx which I have put a 3.3 engine however when running it for some reason the rx just cuts out but if I switch it off and back on it works fine also how much quicker should a 3.3 s maxx be apposed to a 2.5R t maxx many thanks

Is the battery low?

I have S-maxx 3.3 and it will go around 40 mph with 4wd.

Sounds like the switch is bad. The 3.3 has a lot more get up and go than the 2.5.

Just had a new battery holder and switch plus brand new batteries. Will my 2wd s maxx with 3.3 on be much quicker than a friends 4wd traxxas t maxx 2.5 with a 2.5r engine on
