Glad to hear you're OK, even if you are without power and so forth right now. My parent's power came on today and my inlaws are up here with us right now until their roof is fixed.

Plaid, if power is out, how are you getting online? Laptop? Does the internet still work if power is out? I guess so, because here you are! At least you have the forum to keep you in touch with the outside world.

actually the neighbor thing is too explicit to say anything...but lets say I knew I wasn't conquering any new territory......and my roomate told me tonight he was in the same exploration party tonite....I dunno I don't care, cute and basketcase and nextdoor was not a good call on either of our parts.........I got pics of fiddlesticked up stuff from the storm....I got the worst of it.....I mean my area did...I lost my back window and the storm came and fought me in my apt....sucked ass.....most power is back on but my block and 3 others...big tree took out lots of lines.....I went to lake wales today and bought a generator and the cable is off and on....My job has internet alreaady though.....I have mucho cleanup to do.....I lost my couch from the water coming in and pissing on it for 4 hours........I went to check my alarm clock for tommorrow and the power was turned on.........YEAY I got power!!!!!....so many people were crying for help the day after....I tell ya I heard so many fiddlesticked up idiots crying about not getting help the day after....I mean they did say to be preparred for at least 3 days supplies......the gas lines were just stupid....I had water, Food, gas, grill, me and the new roomate scored big w/ all the new neighbors for actually knowing how to fix an old generator and use a chainsaw.......what a week and I'm glad it's done.......
Good to see you back. Better check to see if the "Storm" left any crabs crawling around

I've got family in Belle Glade. Dad talked like they got hit pretty bad. Lost a couple of their rental properties. I'm going to try to call them this weekend.

on the RC side of life I did get to run the piss out of my buggy and truggy.....luckily we have a hobby that can run on 12VDC so I got to play fro 3 days until I broke everything and ran out of fuel........
I almost started a riot near the gas line when someone saw a "gas" toy and the fact I was wasting the precious fuel for enjoyment.....and then this morning I needed to put air in my tire...I went throught the gas line (still like 1 mile long) and pulled up to the air pump and had 10 people standing in line w/ cans walk over and start yelling and screaming......I laid a 9mm on the dash and yelled "w/ this many people surrounding me, I am in fear of my life".....one guy got the message and told everyone to back up...this is sssoooooooF'ing stupid.....I mean I pulled up to an AIR PUMP.......if any of you guys are seeing people cry on the news about where's FEMA the day after Wilma hit, please don't buy their sobbing crying...those ar eth people that just didn't prepare and I'm sorry but that is how natural selection works.....we had the neighborhood patrol walking up and down the street w/ shotguns and rifles the night after the storm........I live on the last block in the "good" neighborhood then there's some warehouses, the tracks & then Dixie Highway before the real ghetto starts.....my neighbors were all acting like the ghetto was gonna explode w/ criminals looking to loot anything they could......the news lies....as much as I don't like Bush I really think blaming him for acts of God being greater than anyone can forcast is a lil petty.....luckily my apt complex was willing to cooperate and we pooled al our resources and did what needed to get done......I had fun actually.......thanks for all the concern.......and I appreciate the offers for help......thank you much guys......maybe we can Hudle and have a group therapy Boo Fuckin Hoo about it now
