HI
I Have a Savage 21 i havce one problem every time i got out i have to take out the battories recharge them and put them back in, u probaly already know that this is a pig to do and takes ages to get them in and out.
But
I was looking on the internet and i saw someone had but a rechargeable battory in there savege to replce the 4aa's and put an external power input so that all you have to do to recharge you battories is take the boy shell off and plug it in to the mains.
Does anyone know how the person did this, what parts you would need and where in the uk can you order them online.
Thanks Alot
Tom

My LHS sells a switch that has the extra charging lead attached to it and I just have it put through some fuel tubing and have it sticking out of the radio box.

*edit* this looks like it.

i know i am probaly going to sound stupid but how will you wire it up?
i looked at the picture and i could not see a lead to plug in a power cable.
Sorry if i am been anoying
thanks
tom

I would suggest going to your LHS and they will sell you the switch and a cheap trickle charger, that will attach to that third lead OR, if you want to spend some bucks, get a peak charger, like the superbrain 959 that you can use at home or in your 1:1 car at the track/bash site.
