Does it quit as soon as you remove the starter? Up you idle screw till it idles after you pull off the EZ start. Then put the nose of the car against something solid and give it half throttle. Adjust your LSN till it responds well up to half throttle without bogging or stalling. Now put it on the ground and go for full throttle. If it stalls, richen the HSN. If it bogs, lean it.
DO NOT try to tune a cold engine. It's useless. When the engine is running pretty good, do the pinch test. Pinch the fuel line to the carb and count the seconds till the engine quits. 3 to 4 is what you want. If it quits quick, richen the LSN. If it runs long, lean it.
