i have a nitro rustler and I'm still new to the hobby but i can't get the carb to tune right, my car will start and die right away i need the perfect settings for high speed needle, low speed and idle please help

Does it quit as soon as you remove the starter? Up you idle screw till it idles after you pull off the EZ start. Then put the nose of the car against something solid and give it half throttle. Adjust your LSN till it responds well up to half throttle without bogging or stalling. Now put it on the ground and go for full throttle. If it stalls, richen the HSN. If it bogs, lean it.
DO NOT try to tune a cold engine. It's useless. When the engine is running pretty good, do the pinch test. Pinch the fuel line to the carb and count the seconds till the engine quits. 3 to 4 is what you want. If it quits quick, richen the LSN. If it runs long, lean it.

Don't do what I did when my T-maxx wouldn't run one day and kept dying once i got it started. Don't throw it into a lake, not good on hardly anything especailly the engine and electronics. Plus you have to go find it.
