Well my roto start is broken and I tried the cordless Makita trick. It didn't seem to have enough power to turn it over. I am still looking to get this thing started. Any ideas would be appreciated. I don't have another drill I can try later.

dosnt come with a drill start? i mean ... "roto start" i think

relentless, I'd guess somewhere in the 1000 rpm range would be good enough. 500 would probably work, but more would be better.

i use a standard cordless drill to start my menace and that is more that enough:breakdown

i use a 12 volt black and decker cordless drill to start my monster GT, works great also if your drill has a torque setting, as long as you dont put your torque setting to high (bout 6-7th setting tops) you will also save yourself alot unnecessary wear of oneway bearings and theres no chance of strippin the gears in the drill like what happens with some ppls rotostart. torque setting is great because it will kick in if to much force is being applied to start the mill :)
