runs then stalls

i start my savage xl, run it, and half throttle it acts like its going to stall, it bogs down, skips and then stalls, or sometimes it keeps going and revs back up.. no idea whats wrong with it.. just started to do it yesterday.

Starving for fuel for some reason. Could be poor fuel, or plugged filter. Make sure your needles are all in place still and never came loose. Also check your air filter.

i changed the fuel, cleaned the tank out. the carb is all tight. the air filter is new, bought one with the screen around it. it still has 2 foam inserts, just a screen. just not really sure
