Noob here with a noob question! I was wondering can the Revo 3.3 run in the rain or wet payment; the reason that I am asking is that I just bought it yesterday and I would like to break it in. Will I encounter any issues if I break it in during wet weather? I searched the website and I could not find what I was questioning! Thank you for entertaining my question..

Relax, it's almost dark now. The break in is the single most important thing you need to do with a new truck, so don't run the risk of spray cooling off the head too much or getting into your electronics.

Yeah there is that, I am just frustrated as I have a new toy that I cannot play with! Oh well it is what it is; thank you though!!! To be honest I am nervous about this break in period; don't want to mess anything up!

Wait on break-in until it's dry. You also might want to look at using the heat cycle method listed at the top of the Engines section.

I am not sure how I am going to break it in now to be honest. Oh well I guess I will have to sleep on it and pray for better weather come tomorrow! Thanks for the help though!

You've got time now. READ READ READ, MEMORIZE, TAKE NOTES NOW. Go out and get a temp guage if you don't have one already. Rain will ruin everything, be patient you didn't spend 550 bucks for a bunch of headaches. The break in process is crucial to the life of your engine. You'll want to heat cycle it first then run the 5 tanks without all your buddies around. Trust me it'll be worth it if you do it right. Patience;)

You break it in according to manufatures specs"ONLY" no other way unless it is listed in the manual, yes there are shotcuts but would not advise.

Actually most of the old timers will recommend the heat cycle break-in method over the one that is listed in the Traxxas manual. The engines tend to last longer.

Yeah I have done a lot of reading on the subject; I guess either way you choose to do it the enginge get's broken in.. I now know what I am going to do; I am just going to follow what Traxxas advises; in the event that something messes up I know that I can vocalize that to the Traxxas support team with integrity! Thanks for all the help and advice though!

The best thing to do IMO is warm it up with a hair dryer each time before doing AT LEAST 10 heat cycles. THEN do the trx method.
