i'm almost done with the pink nitro fuel.i picked up a new Nitro Bottle{Onfa bottle whch is HUGE compared to my now cracked duratraxx bottle}along with some Yellow Bryon Racing Fuel.

would it be ok to upgrade to the yellow fuel?

as long as they are the same % it should be ok, test it with a tank and see what happens. I use Yellow Bryon Racing Fuel and it works good in my buggies.

You should be fdine just as long as you keep the pecentage the same.

you will prolly have to tune the engine a tad due to no two gallons of fuel are the same but it wont make much of a diff aslong as the % is the same.

It's not so much the %. It's the amount of oil % the nitro contains to lube the engine.

LOL...the infamous can I change fuels question. Right on schedule.

Yes, you can change fuel. Yes, you will have to retune for the new fuel. No, you don't have to worry so much about nitro or oil content as long as they are both within the design limits of the engine in question. Typically that means running nitro made for cars/trucks with a percent nitro between 10 and 30 percent. Also the oil content between 14-18 percent.

Bottom line, run what you can get easily at your LHS. Tune your engine for the new fuel. If you are changing nitro content, give the engine a tank or two to get used to the new burn characteristics of the new fuel.

i ran the byron race in my duratrax ...20% i believe it is 16% oil ...

ran great held a good tune ... for what it could being duratrax ...

but i ran it from the beginning

forgot one thing, should i let the nitro car run till the whole tank is empty and then fill it up with the bryon fuel?

If u still have the old fuel, yes burn it out and then fill up with the new fuel.

i got the new fuel in today......def. a differance.
it's easier to start up now{2-3 pulls max},doesn't stall anymore and pretty quick accelration
