rubber or foam? (TARMAC)

so whats the call? i run on fresh tarmac and concrete, kinda dusty, but not bad. my rs4 came with foams. i thought they would do better then rubber, but they are all over the place. is it still gonna be better then the rubber tires? i plan on using parma tire traction as well. I'm ordering another set for my second rs4, but not sure what to get.. i know the foams can "chunk", but are they better then rubbers?

i run my on road in the fresh pavement, and my stock tires were V tread rubbers. i switched up to med soft foam tires and i think they give alot more traction going down a straight away. i feel it keeps it from going out of control but when i like to drift around turns and stuff i would switch up to the rubbers cuz they wont chunk or anything and they were cheaper than foams

Yeah my rubbers would also blow. I had foam tires on before, I can't find them now though.

What brand are you running..On the Foams what hardness are you running? Foams are not all the same, for asphalt the Jacos hold up pretty good and you can find them for extremely cheap ($10 a set..2). But for the most I run rubber tires, The one thing that you need to remember when running rubber tires on a nitro sedan is they like the harder compounds, You should be running at least 36's, In Ca. when the temps come up I'll run 42's for the longer mains. If you try to run 27's, 28's they'll just blister in 3 or 4 minutes..But with a little set up you can get rubber tires to hook up on asphalt..Another great tire on "some" asphalt tracks is the old yokomo sprint tire..A few things you can do to keep foams from chunking..1..dont hit anything..(little joke their). Try putting a thin coat of ca on the sidewalls (this also keeps you from traction rolling). But you need to use traction compound with either tire for maximum performance. For rubber tires you can use wd-40..it actually works pretty good..
