i have a 4tec and its a POS, i wanted something that would be a little easier to drive and I'm sick of getting destroyed after hitting a little pebble. i was looking at the rs4 super because its bigger and i figure it wont go as fast and just wont fall apart like the 4tec

i was wonder how fast the rs4 super goes stock, how fast it would go with the 2 speed and how the handling is.

thanks,

I have a Super Nitro, and I love it.
It's my first Nitro car, and I just got it broke in, so I'm still not sure of the top speed.
It's got about 1/2 in of ground clearance, so it's got room, and the tires are 2.2 in buggy tires, so you have options for treads.

ty...another question...if i go to upgrade to a .21 what kind of header/pipe do i use? its all crazy lookin since I'm used to side exhaust

Lots of work and money to get a .21 in the Super, and keep it running. You would use a header and pipe for a .21 motor.

I would suggest an rdlogics pipe

Here is a link to the pipe it's about half way to three quarters of the way down the page.

my super running a 2 spd, with a '03 fantom FR15, header and pipe moves along quite comfortably (13/44-16/41). i was playing with a guy last week that was running a 4TEC and he just couldnt hang. handling is great so long as you know how to make use of the availible adjustments and make sure you upgrade the tires right away. the M-compound that comes with the kit is best used as ammo for chucking at squirrels.

The handling is great. Once u get the 2 speed it moves pretty quick with the stock .15fe engine, but upgrade the engine for better performance and easier tuning. There isn't much variety of on-road tires because of the size (2.2) which is mostly buggy tire size.
