If I run a flat pack rechargable Rx pack in a new RS4 where does the pack get mounted? Will it fit in the receiver box (I think not)?

A hump pack would probably raise the CG and affect handling.

That's a tough one. The RS4/3 chassis is so crowded that I'm not sure where you'd put it. The battery box is small, so it's more accepting of a hump pack. But there's really nowhere low to put the flat pack. My only suggestion would be to modify the current radio plate. If you're not going to put anything in the battery box, perhaps you might cut part of it off to mount the battery pack flat to the chassis under it...

There is no where to put it with the stock electronics tray. I replaced that with the hpi woven graphite upper deck, and with that you have to use a 5 cell flat pack. It also greatly helped the handling, well that and a sway bar kit. :D

Thanks for the replies. I might get the Ofna 1400 hump and put it in my Savage. I can then take the 1100 hump that is currently in my Savage and put it in the RS4.
