Are there any big power differences in the HPI RS4 3 between the Hpi .18ss and the O.S. .18 CVR? And is the O.S. a dirct fit?

O.S is by far the better choice ! cheaper in$$ ,more power ,more durable, and most of all very tuner friendly.. The .18 hpi costs 30$ more and only has a 5.5 mm carb ( 99% of .12 & .15's uses a 5.5) the o.s .18 uses a 6.5 mm carb ( so that extra 1 mm = more fuel/air = more power)..

Just ask any one about a o.s engine period! Great power , long lasting hp beast.. can't go wrong.:breakdown

Between the two I would go for the O.S. If you already have the .18SS I don't think it would be worth it to upgrade to the O.S. unless your .18SS is worn out.

And yea I am pretty sure it is a direct fit.

went with the O.S. .18 CV-RX. About twice as big as the old HPI .12 engine. Looks nice. Waiting for batteries to charge for break ing
